Technical specifications are useless, compare temperature control. It is what you are buying!

When choosing a temperature control device it seems to make sense to read the technical specifications and compare them between manufacturers. Cooling power, heating power, pump data etc are compared against price. But these figures only tell you what the unit generates, they have little to no bearing on how well the unit will control temperature or respond to a sudden change in load e.g. when a reaction starts in the process. At Huber we have conducted hundreds of case studies with various units on many reactors under “real” conditions. It gives a customer empirical performance data on response, control stability and time to temperature curves. No BS, no wishful thinking and no calculation made under theoretical conditions just empirical performance data.
