Unistat Grand Fleur holding a 10-litre vacuum insulated reactor steady at 100°C

Huber’s Unistat Grand Fleur is a low volume hydraulically sealed bench-top thermostat with a temperature range of -40°C to 200°C. It may seem to be low powered with a 1.5 kW heater and 0.48 kW of cooling power at 20°C but it is extremely efficient at transferring that power. Here it is easily holding a 10-litre reactor rock steady at 100°C over a period of 3-hours. The green trace is the jacket temperature, the red line is the process temperature. The reaction mass is simulated with 7-litres of DW-Therm.
