Huber’s Unistat “Petite Fleur” on a 20-litre reactor

The Unistat “Petite Fleur” has a temperature range of -40°C up to 200° cooling power of 480 watts at 20°C and a 2 kW heater. In this case study we determine the lowest achievable process temperature in an un-insulated Chemglass 20-litre glass reactor with the process mass being simulated with 15-litres of DW-Therm thermal fluid. As can be seen in the picture, a process temperature of -13.5°C was achieved.
